Chinese Embassy in Rwanda in cooperation with Rwanda national television filming food programs
On February 24, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda was invited to cooperate with Rwanda national television in filming food shows to show the richness and cooking methods of the Chinese food culture to the people in Rwanda
Rao Hongwei, The ambassador of China in Rwanda, first interviewed Rwanda State Television and introduced the rich and colorful Chinese food culture to the people of Rwanda. He said that the Chinese people often say that people want food for the world, and that Chinese cuisine is an integral part of Chinese culture. It not only enjoys a reputation in the world but also serves as a bridge for building the friendship between China and foreign countries. Chinese food culture has a long history, profound, pay attention to color and taste, and the development of interpretation of the "eight dishes."
Later, the embassy chef Tao Yu Kun live cooking showcased a variety of Chinese cuisine: lamb meat mashed potatoes, Jiang Rong Shuanzhai chickens, double-flavor prawns, colorful beef ... ... Rwanda State television also recorded Kung pao chicken cooking method. Their staff said that Rwanda People is very interested in Chinese culture, including Chinese food. This event helps to promote Chinese culture in Rwanda.
